Common questions
How do I add a task?
Open the Tasks tab and tap +. Choose Quick task to dictate or type it and let AI fill in the details, or Manual entry for full control. You can also say "Hey Siri, add a task to Upkeepify."
How does Snap & Diagnose work?
Go to More → Snap & Diagnose and take a photo of whatever's wrong. AI identifies the issue, rates the urgency, and suggests likely fixes and a cost estimate. You can add the fix to your tasks in one tap. AI results are informational only — for anything involving safety, always consult a qualified professional.
How do I add an asset?
On the Assets tab tap + and photograph the appliance or fixture. AI fills in the name, manufacturer, model, and category. Add warranty and purchase dates to track coverage and get renewal reminders.
How do I scan a receipt?
When adding an Expense (or a service log on an asset), choose Scan receipt and AI reads the merchant, amount, and date for you.
How do reminders and notifications work?
Tasks with a due date can remind you ahead of time. Manage permissions and timing in More → Notifications. Weather-aware alerts also warn you when rain threatens outdoor work.
How do I manage or change my plan?
Plans are managed on the web. Sign in at app.upkeepify.com to view or change your subscription. You can see your current plan and usage anytime in the app under More → Plan & Usage.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to More → Account → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account and all associated data. Want to keep a copy first? Use Account → Export My Data.
